carbed 305

how much power can come from a 305 carbed its on an cutlass? i think my 4.3 has more than it.

Stock probably not much more than the 4.3.
Add intake, headers, dual exhaust, new cam, better heads anywhere from 250-330hp can be made. You can make more with the 305 if you put the work into it. Car craft magazine made 298hp 308 tq with world torquer 305 heads a comp cam and other bolt ons.

The motor probably has 150 HP & 250 torque as it is now.

i saw the world torquer heads nice about 1200 for both then i need intake carb rockers bolts push rods cam looking at maybe 3k to get nice hp and torq.

thats one hell of an article have not finished reading it. lots of info and different combination that can be done to the 305. thanks,going to keep looking into it to see what i decide.
