Re: Carb Question

it would come out of the hole faster with a 650. unless your turning over 7200 its a little to big but not much.

Re: Carb Question

I have a 750 double pump on my set up which is a 350/350 and its not that wild. the 750 can work if its tuned in right, but thats the trick. I got lucky that my friend used to build and tune carbs so he did it right. If your gonna go with a lot of pony's then it should be ok. On a normal, not to crazy set up, a 650 usualy works better.

I have a 383 in production and Im going to put that carb on it as well. definately make sure you have the right jetting for your altitude/climate, it does make a difference.

Re: Carb Question

Which accelerator pump cam are you using?

The only thing I would think would be a tad smaller on the jets, maybe a smaller pump nozzle, and anything besides the "brown" accelerator pump cam.

Re: Carb Question

A 750 is fine for that motor. A 650 could become a restriction.
