Re: Angled spark plugs and headers
Is there anything else you have to be concerned with clearance wise with the fenderwell headers?

Re: Angled spark plugs and headers
sanderson makes there shorties that work with it. i am runnin the long tube 'hedmans inside the frame. the only problem i've heard with the fenderwell is turning radius. and if your tryin to put any kind of meaty rubber up front it isnt gonna work so hot...

Re: Angled spark plugs and headers
im planning on running a 3.5" wheel but i think im just gonna run the long tubes inside..... Its so close to being ready and another $500 set back sucks... But hopefully it will be ready for next race season....

Re: Angled spark plugs and headers
my sandersons were not the angle plug specific headers, they were just the regular Sandersons....the inside frame long tubes suck....there soo hard to install, and with some you need to unbolt headers to change oil filter...i would go with shorties unless your building a engine with alot of power that your gonna need the big tube, long tubes....the minimal gain isnt worth the headaches involved |

Re: Angled spark plugs and headers
yes i agree they are a pain in the ass. just did a set... but its easier to use a remote oil filter wtih them. i couldnt imagine tryin to get a oil filter in and out of there. hell i got about the smallest starter they make and i have to take apart litteraly the whole header to get it in and out.
with a 3.5 wide wheel i would guess its a strip truck?? which in that case go fenderwell itll be alot easier! |

Re: Angled spark plugs and headers
The motor is not gonna be making gobs of power but will be around 375 to the ground plus alittle nitrous. It is built for the track but i will drive it on the street

Re: Angled spark plugs and headers
x2 on the Sandersons for angled plugs, fit perfect with all sorts of clearance for the plugs.
