92 s10 onto an 84 jimmy?
Hi. Ive got a 92 s10 single cab. 2.8 and a 5 speed. My friend has got a rotted out gmc jimmy. either a 350 or 305 with a 4 speed auto which i assume is a 700r4. The jimmy is 4x4. I'm looking at the possibility of putting the s10 body on the jimmy. Has anyone done this or anything similar and what sort of problems did you have? It looks good on paper!

uk - the frames are completely different. The Jimmy is a full sized truck. the S10 is a mini truck. Other than that it should be a breeze

Yes i sought of got that. changing/moving mounts isnt difficult. More interested in clearance issues or if someone has done it or something similar what sort of problems they had. If you dont try these things you dont know.

I have a 97 s10 ex-cab on a 71 k5 frame. That frame works really well IMO. A friend put a 86 s-blazer body on a 94 truck frame and it didn't fit near as well.
