I've seen 700 to 350 direct swaps, depends on the tailshaft.

Re: 700r to a 350 turbo
Try and put the driveshaft in. I put an 8.5" rear in my car and needed to shorten it 1" but we went with 1.5". The shaft was out of balance so they just made a new one instead. Your best bet is to just try and put it in with the truck on jack stands in the back on the frame.

Also like to add, it depends on your engine mount adjustment.

Re: 700r to a 350 turbo
I don't know of a bolt in. I had to get one made for the 350 transmission. The original shaft with the 2.8/700R fit the 5.7/700R

Re: 700r to a 350 turbo
If the 350 has a 9 inch or so tailshaft, it would only be 1/8 inch smaller than the 700r4. You can cheat and make that work with the existing driveshaft.
You probably would have to move the transmember. |

Re: 700r to a 350 turbo
Probably take a dremel or a drill bit and elongate the holes for the trans crossmember if you were really concerned about that 1/8 of an inch.
