5.7 connecting rods
does anyone have a full set of stock 350 connecting rods laying around?

Any local machine shop will have lots of them laying around..going price is $6 a peice atm.

I have a stock set with stock pistons on them.......but we kind of created a new game that involves them(sorta like horse shoes......but way more red neckish)

yea there there pilling up around here for some reason?
ps if anyone wants a 350 engine i have 3 older carbstyle with some of the acc. theres also 2 full size truck engines from around 96 or so with the tbi setup... msg me i'll hook u up |

do you need them for a 1 pc rear seal block or 2 pc rear seal block.I am not sure about the difference but I think 1 has a bigger crank bearing end

The only real difference in the rods between the 2 were the LT1's and vortecs got the powdered medal rods which are lighter. Personally I would get a matched set of 8 from 1 350 engine. AKA when you buy a full set of rods marked from an engine, they were paired from the factory, setting the side clearances. If you buy a mismatched set that have had the sides machined it may be hard to get a pair within teh correct side clearance (thus creating a oil leak and oil pressure loss). |
