i have been thinking of getting a 383 crank in stead of my 350 crank but i dont know if its going to do much, just let me know what you guys would think, thanks

Hi curly, I think you're talking about getting a 400 crank to put in your +.030 350 to make a 383. It will do plenty to increase torque and power.

depends on your intentions of your build. If you want 500hp than go 383, but if you are using it as a DD than go 350 and be done with it.

to the OP: the increase from a 350 to 383 is substantial, you will instantly notice a large amount of torque that you didnt have with the 350, i have had loads of fun with mine, tons of tire shredding power |

who cares if u got the money for a nice motor set up i really dont think ur goin to worry about the money for the gas, an if u kno how much HP ur pusshin out u kno ur MPG is goin to low espeiaclly for alot of city drivin

yeah, just curious if any of you guys were trying to save on gas at all, My dad was gonna sell me his 383 but i wanna do a swap with better MPG probably going with a lsx swap. But i love carbs so simple and hassle free.
