Re: 2007 Gm Performance Catalog

Well I work at a GM dealer and they just sent us one today. Some of the Part numbers dont have pricing and arent available yet. Once that kit is available im ordering a few. One thing that has pricing already is the LSX block. The one that can handle 2,000hp and something like 500cid. The block dealer cost is $1,750. Part# for the new catalog is 19170580 384 pages

Re: 2007 Gm Performance Catalog

Guy on ebay (Nook & Tranny) sell the complete Corvette Acessory Drive Kit (Brackets & Belt Only) for $589. A little cheaper than GM, he also carrys the LT1 Acessory kit too.
eBay Motors: 97-04 LS1 Corvette Front Drive Brackets and Pulleys NEW (item 170082023295 end time Feb-25-07 13:12:46 PST)

97-04 LS1 Corvette main aluminum accessory bracket
97-04 LS1 Corvette power steering pump pulley, reservoir and support bracket
97-04 LS1 Corvette main accessory belt idler pulley and belt tensioner assembly
97-04 LS1 Corvette A/C compressor support bracket, A/C belt tensioner and A/C idler pulley
97-04 LS1 Corvette harmonic balancer
97-04 LS1 Corvette OEM accessory belt and A/C belt
If I ever get the chance to go LSx, I'll be hitting him up first.

Re: 2007 Gm Performance Catalog

Actually its not cheaper. Dont see the A/C Compressor and Alternator in there which dealer cost on those two parts alone are over $600. Gm's kit says comes with A/C compressor and alternator

Re: 2007 Gm Performance Catalog

$675 w/ Compressor & alt.? You really can't beat that then, compressor and alt. would almost run you that at the local parts store.

So if I walk into my dealer I can get it for the $675? Or is that Dealer/Employee pricing? Even if not $964 still isn't bad, I just could't drop that at once.

That's why I'll be ordering from Ebay and purchasing the Alt, P.S. Pump, & A/C delte down the road as money comes in. Unless my local dealership hires a hot parts chick and I can end up sweet talking her.

Im not an Ebay fan. Never been on there looking for things. I like buying things brand new, but thats just me. And since I can get deals at my work ill go that route, even though its more money than used.

Re: 2007 Gm Performance Catalog

gmpartsdirect.com sells it for $701.79, but shipping is like $140.
I can get them locally for about $800. Might be better that way

But you work at a dealership, you get a discount. Us basic truckers don't. The link I posted is all brand new stuff not used or reman. I just posted it to an alternative to trying to hassle your local dealership. For the ones one a budget like me that can't drop a grand at a time. Although believe me if I kew someway to get a employee discount I would definately be getting all my parts from the dealer.

Re: 2007 Gm Performance Catalog

Oh i know. But im saying on engines and such, with my discount its still alot more than you will pay at a junk yard, ebay etc for a used one. But me I would still buy new. Thats just me. I dont mind giving guys i know from Jersey things for my price. I could meet them etc. Just to ship them from me personally is rediculous. I tried to get somethings for a guy from jersey months ago but i did screw him un-intentionally. Computer crashed and the work computer wouldnt let me on S10 forum. Which i am sorry about. Dont remember his name but sorry man

Re: 2007 Gm Performance Catalog

This is a smoking deal on new stuff. Does anyone have a pic of the Vette engine. I believe the locations of the ac and alt are different in the Vettes, F-bodies and trucks.

Re: 2007 Gm Performance Catalog

they are in one of these swap threads somewhere. The A/C is in the same spot, lower passenger side. The alt is on the upper driver side with the vette/truck setup.
