72vega-91s10 did you cut the middle of the header mounting plate thing off?? looks like you did a good job, i see so many hack job v8 s10 on CL all the time.

i dont remember, but i think they are 7/16 head, got them from autozone, i had 3/8 ones but they would round easily,

I like the Vega man, your truck's looking good too. If i was you id just take the crank out of that 283 and put it in a 327. I always wanted something with a Chevy 302 and in that lightweight car, it'd scream down the track.

I HAD A 327 BLOCK, BUT IT WAS MY FRIENDS AND HE SCRAPED IT, IT WAS IN MY GARAGE FOR A WHILE, I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT IF FROM HIM, BUT I HAVE A 355 BLOCK SO THATS GOING IN THE S-10 AND THEN INTO THE VEGA, SHOULD FLY DOWN THE TRACK

i got a v8 in mind for my truck, and its the one currently in jared's truck. As soon as he wants the 355 in his, i iwill take the 305 off his hands in a heartbeat.

heres mine 305, edelbrock performer rpm air gap, edelbrock 600 4 barrel, th350 with shift kit.373 rear.summit blue printed hei distributor. mild blue racer cam. its still a work in progress but this is where we are at so far. dont mind the stock manifolds. When the other motor is done, headers will be swapped in

Here are a few pics of mine.

355, 11:1, 200cc RHS heads, Vic. Jr., 750 Demon, 236/242 110 lsa S.R., TH350 w/3500 stall, 9" w/3.70 gears, 150 shot Zex plate......6' eagle h beam rods, stock crank.......10.50's with a 1.40 60' time

Motor is out right now.....new crank....bigger cam....the rest will stay the same.

Looking for a 9 on more spray.

Heres my sleeper,its just a mild 350,ran 8.60 in the 1/8th at 85mph,dont have a 1/4 mile,getting ready to do a cam swap and stapp,also a 150 shot.

I believe there 65 tall,i know there 235 wide.but be warned they do rub when turning sharp.like never when driving.but like in a parking lot.and im also lowered alot.close to tucking on the right side

your gonna need to space them out, because i've got 255/60/16 on my 1st gen but im on IROC's and they rub on hard turns at 50 or above.

never while driving around normally, but my fronts are 245/50/16

heres some engine pics of mine, with my brand new aluminum patriot heads, and new rpm dual plane intake... it looks better in person.. aprox. hp, dont know yet.. dyno sesion in spring..hoping for 400... motor specs in sig..

where did you get that t-stat housing with the cap in it..and what brand is is..im really tired of always having a air pocket i cant get out of my cooling system..
