Keywords: Caprice car wagon project

Description
This is a 1982 Caprice Wagon with around 90k ORIGINAL miles. The car has been in my family since new and the owner (a great aunt) had purchased the car when she was 60. The car cannot be driven and will have to be towed due to, what I am assuming is, a bad brake booster. Headliner is removed because the cloth and foam was gone. I wanted to cover the headliner in a chocolate colored Suede which I will include with the car. Front bumper, header panel, etc are removed because I had the intentions of shoving a SBC in there and having a neat little wagon. But I found something else that peaked my interest and want this wagon to go to a good home. I hate to see perfect project cars rot away in junkyards. This car has a little rust. Worst parts being the rear bumper (common), spare tire well (common), and the battery tray and inner fender where a leaky battery sat. Car does need paint but other than that a good car.

The wagon is a base model. 4.4L V8, and automatic transmission. I've been told it's one of the better transmissions by members here. The interior is tan with vinyl bench seats. All three seats are in pretty good condition for being 25 years old. I have the original AM/FM Cassette with the car but not hooked up. Also I have a Scosch adapter for the 1977 caprice.

I hate to see good project cars go to the great big crusher in the sky. I am always open to offers and would like to offload this thing quick. Mostly due to my need for garage space for my other toy. If I don't sell this car than it's going in for scrap. So please, PLEASE save this car from a fate that's about worse than death. This is local only unless you're willing to travel to pick this bad boy up.

Asking price is $1000 but I am more than open to offers. Worst thing I can say is no right?
