I have for sale, a 1997 Chevy S10 ZQ8 stepside, and a motor from a 2002 S10 Xtreme. The truck is Victory Red with a charcoal grey interior. It's a V6 5 speed truck, which is the rarest motor combo for this truck in any 2nd gen year. The truck is mostly stock except for M3 Mirrors, a soft tonneau cover, rain guards, and aftermarket CF taillights.
The ZQ8 Package was a performance suspension option offered on the 2wd s10 lineup. The truck is factory lowered 1.5" in the front, and 2" in the rear, along with beefier sway bars, deCarbon shocks, and a bilstein axle hop shock in the rear. It is also equipped with the close ratio steering box used in the 4th gen camaro z28.
The truck itself is straight. It looks like it hit a trailer hitch on the rear bumper, but thats the worst of body damage. The problem comes to the fact that the V6 in the truck appears to have sucked up water, and now has a rod knock. I have another motor that I'll be selling with the truck as well. It's a W-Code 4.3 V6 from a 2002 S10 Xtreme. The motor itself only has 51k miles.
The truck runs, Trans shifts great, but the motors just about shot. Truck was recently detailed, and the paint still shines. I bought the truck on the intentions of swapping the engines, but i just dont have enough time to do it anymore.
I have more pics upon request, and I'm located in Marlton NJ if you want to see the truck in person. This truck has alot of potential, Please give it a good home. The ZQ8's are becoming a rare truck. Especially clean ones.
