Keywords: Sonoma GT Syclone Typhoon 5 speed 4.3

Description
this is a rare 1992 Sonoma GT. Truck is #519 of 806 made. I believe I am the 4th owner, I have the last issued NH title in hand (not issued for cars over 15 years of age).

2wd 1/2 ton. Posi rear 3.42

Truck is in good shape mechanically, recently underwent frame on restoration. I did all the work myself. Undercarriaged cleaned and POR15d. New Gibson stainless exhaust. New GM 4.3 crate motor, modified with LT1 throttle body, cold air intake, Edelbrock headers. ~210hp.

Converted to manual trans, T-5 world class from an IROC-Z. Was done to appear factory, has correct knob, boot and shifter location. Shift pattern does not match. Only known factory style conversion. Used my Typhoon as a reference to make the shifter as close as possible. All other parts from donor S10s, internal hydraulic throwout bearing from Howe Racing.

New carpets, overhead console. Fresh paint in original gloss black. Base and clear is superior to original paint. Cladding is all original and has had only minor repairs. Any rust found was cut out and replaced: new fenders, core support and tailgate. Center bed supports replaced with 16 gauge stainless steel, rear bed mounts rebuilt from plate steel. Part of front bed rail replaced, as well as the bottoms of both bedsides. Entire truck is undercoated with bedliner. Bed is lined as well.

Two sets of wheels, one set original steels with GT specific center caps and trim rings, decent tires. Other set Borbet Type E 17x8, low mileage Nexen N5000 tires.

Have pretty much all original parts except flexplate, factory shift cable and cup holder plate. All parts pretty easy to find.

Also have a matching black cap if wanted.

Bads:

-Trip odometer does not work. Expect a worn drive gear. Regular odometer is fine and accurate ~130k.
-Tailgate latch sticks, probably just needs lubed.
-Idle air control valve is bad, truck hunts around when cold. Haven't ordered a replacement yet.
-Clutch leaks fluid and needs topped off frequently, adapter has buggered threads. I have a new clutch cylinder with the correct adapter, have not had time to install yet.
-Has rear wheel ABS, but does not seem to work.
-Few scuffs and scrapes, most will buff out fine.

Overall, great truck and fun to drive. I would keep it, but I have too many toys and not enough storage space. I really need a 4x4 fullsize. I have $9k in receipts from rebuilding this truck.

Asking $7500 OBO.
